JANUARY NEWS

Hey everyone! It's a new year! I've been working hard, here's what's been going on and what's to come:

Summer's Birthday v0.5 status:

As many of you know, Patreon recently became more clear on what's allowed and what's not allowed - unfortunately for Summer's Birthday, incest was one of the banned themes (sorry, Glasses Morty)...but fear not - this is where Gwendolyn (pictured above) comes in. Instead of having to remove Beth, Morty, Tiny Rick (and Pickle Rick) I will have Gwendolyn as a mandatory switch with Summer for those partner selections and optional for the rest of the characters. Jessica may be another Summer switch-out option for the version after this one, if not then, eventually!

I'm really hoping to get this out by the end of January or early February if I don't run into any major problems. I'm also working on a way to make the buttons easy to press for the mobile version without making the menus grotesquely large.

Next Commission: Melody (Josie & The Pussycats, Hanna-Barbera style)

The commission I'm currently working on is Melody from the Hanna-Barbera Josie & The Pussycat cartoon series. I grew up reading Archie comics and watching Hanna-Barbera cartoons, so this is going to be fun to make! ;)
I'm going to have the theme song stuck in my head for the next month though...

More stuff:
As soon as I finish v0.5 of Summer's Birthday, I'll be working on an animated preview for the Marie Kanker Patreon Raffle animation!
Another month I'm able to pay the bills, thanks to support from viewers and commissioners like you!

Woah woah woah, is this change strictly for Patreon? Is Newgrounds going to have the originally planned v0.5 or the Gwendolyn version? To be honest, if the "incest" activity is going to be removed completely, I'm gonna be very sad. :(

Thank you! Regarding the Patreon thing in the first comment, yes, the incest element will be removed for Newgrounds. I may upload an "incest" version somewhere else with the restrictions taken off, but I won't be able to link to it. ;( sorry!

Hoping to have the Josie & The Pussycats flash out before the end of the month, possibly early next month! She doesn't do a "full ahegao" with the mouth but her eyes do roll up. ;)

It feels great. I love doing what I'm doing! Some of the commissions I'm unfamiliar with, but it's fun to research and learn about the characters I'm doing. :)

Still waiting on final confirmation for that, but I have been talking to Oolay about it. ;)
